My name is Jason and as you can probably tell I enjoy making jewelry. I have been selling jewelry online since 2006. I make the jewelry, take the photos and program the web site. If you see anything that needs to be changed please feel free to contact me. I've studied metal working since 1999, and I've taken college courses in metals and jewelry at both Virginia Commonwealth University and Radford University. I originally started making chainmaille in 2001 because it was simple and required very few tools. I started on a larger scale. I completed a shirt, a vest, several belts and several other items in steel, but I found I could also make copper bracelets much faster, and there were more people interested in them. The money made from those first projects went into buying better materials and supplies and now my material of choice is sterling silver, although I also occasionally work with gold. Also in addition to making chainmaille I also work with cabochons and faceted gemstones. I still work a "Day job" to support myself, but I've been able to leave my full time job behind and only work part time. However my goal is to be able to support myself solely by doing the things that I enjoy. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or see any errors with the site. ~Jason You can also find me on the web at: Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/jasonsjewelry Etsy: http://www.jasonsjewelry.etsy.com My fiance and I are also both artists, you can find our artwork here: http://www.artbyjasonandamanda.etsy.com
